Your rights to the LGPL libraries
libimobiledevice, libusbmuxd, libplist and libimobiledevice-glue are
licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or
later. You may study, change and share them under that license.

Source code: the complete source code of these libraries, and the
scripts and build records used to build the copies in Thumbwise, are
  in Thumbwise.app/Contents/Resources/ThirdPartySources. OpenSSL's source
is available from the address listed above.

Using your own build: build_release_natives.sh and the build records
there show exactly how we configured and compiled each library. Build
your version the same way (it must keep the same programming interface),
replace the file with the same name in
  Thumbwise.app/Contents/Frameworks/DeviceLibraries, then sign that file
and re-seal the app for your Mac in Terminal (libplist as the example):
    codesign --force --sign - /Applications/Thumbwise.app/Contents/Frameworks/DeviceLibraries/libplist-2.0.4.dylib
    codesign --force --sign - /Applications/Thumbwise.app
Thumbwise accepts replaced device libraries; its bundled Python is
signed to load them. A re-sealed copy may ask for Keychain access
again and cannot install Thumbwise updates; download Thumbwise again
  to return to the original.
